Get To Know Mitzy

About My Experience in Early Childhood Education

My name is Mitzy Molina, also known as Maestra Mitzy. I am an early childhood educator, parent coach, author, and lifelong learner with over 12 years of hands-on experience working with children, families, and educators in a wide range of settings. Early childhood education is not just my profession—it is my family legacy, my lived experience, and my life’s work.

My Educational Background & Experience

Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
Focus: Leadership, Management, and Program Development

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
Focus on child development, behavior, and emotional regulation

I am a bilingual early childhood educator, early interventionist, parent coach, potty training consultant, and author with over 12 years of hands-on experience working with children and families across educational, therapeutic, and administrative settings. Early childhood education is not only my profession—it is my passion, my lifestyle, and my purpose.

I owned and operated My Spanish Paradise II, a bilingual in-home preschool program, which was the second location of my mother’s original program. I’ve worked as a Preschool Director, Early Interventionist, Teacher, Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist, and provided founding support to open a new preschool in SF. I have extensive experience opening, establishing, and running preschool programs, from licensing and setup to daily classroom and parent-facing operations.

I am currently the co-owner of a highly rated bilingual in-home preschool program in Oakland, open for 3 years, serving children and families in a warm, structured, and developmentally intentional environment. The program is well-established, trusted by families, and consistently praised for its quality, organization, and care.

Communication With Children

I am a published children’s book author and regularly read my books to groups of children. Children are consistently highly attentive and engaged during these readings because I know how to speak in a child’s language, hold attention naturally, and connect learning to emotion, movement, and curiosity.

What Makes My Work Unique

I have experience in both the administrative and teaching sides of early childhood education. I understand:

  • how programs function behind the scenes

  • how classrooms function moment to moment

  • how children behave differently at school and at home

  • how to support parents with practical, realistic strategies

My Commitment

Early childhood is my dharma—my life purpose. I take this work seriously because I understand how foundational these years are, not only for children, but for families as a whole.

My goal is to support parents with clarity, confidence, and compassion, grounded in real experience, deep knowledge, and genuine care.

“Mitzy came in and was just really understanding and assessed the environment. With all of her education and experience with children, she knew exactly what to do.”

“Having Mitzy come to our house for a weekend made all the difference. She gave us a clear plan, guidance, and support every step of the way… We’re incredibly grateful for her help.”
